Dr. Manwaring's Bio

Hi there! My name is Ryan Manwaring, and I have worked in mental health settings for children and adults since 2012. I’ve also had the privilege of working as a Clinical Assistant Professor in two local graduate school programs.

I provide counseling and medication management for teens and adults via teleconferencing. My clients are some of my biggest heroes. In their courage, I witness the strength of the human spirit. Each journey is unique, and it is an incredible privilege to walk alongside them as they navigate the depths of their emotions, untangle the complexities of their thoughts, and uncover the path to healing.

In addition to my work with clients, I am also a consultant for medical legal cases and a passionate guest lecturer on empowering communities through understanding brain development. During my doctoral program, I received a scholarship through the Veterans Affairs Nursing Academic Partnership, which included training through the Salt Lake VA homeless program. I also completed a fellowship with the Utah Regional Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (URLEND) in 2020.
